Grand Master of Morocco was the special guest of Spanish Freemasonry


The Grand Master of the Regular Grand Lodge of the Kingdom of Morocco, Most Worshipful Yassine Nouini, attended this year the Feast of the Craft in Spain. He was the special guest of the Grand Lodge of Spain led by Grand Master Oscar de Alfonso (President of the Inter-American Masonic Confederation).

During his speech, the Grand Master of Morocco stated the following: "Relations between the Grand Lodge of Spain and the Regular Grand Lodge of the Kingdom of Morocco should be increasingly stronger given the geographical and historical reasons that unite us."

The Regular Grand Lodge of the Kingdom of Morocco, sole regular Grand Lodge recognized by the United Grand Lodge of England - Mother Grand Lodge of the World in the Moroccan Jurisdiction, it was founded in 2000.

African Grand Lodges attended GLNF's Annual Communication in Paris


According to the Masonic Press Agency, the Grand Lodges of Ghana (represented by the Grand Master), Mauritius (represented by the Assistant Grand Master), Niger (represented by the Grand Master), Cameroon (represented by the Grand Master, which is also Minister of Foreign Affairs of his country), Djibouti (represented by the Deputy Grand Master), Congo (represented by the Pro Grand Master), Morocco (represented by the Grand Master), Guinea (represented by the Grand Master), Burkina Faso (represented by the Assistant Grand Master and by the Grand Chancellor), Madagascar (represented by the Assistant Grand Master), Benin (represented by the Grand Master), Togo (represented by the Grand Master), Ivory Coast (represented by the Grand Master) and Gabon (represented by the Past Grand Master) attended the Annual Communication of the French National Grand Lodge held on December 6th in Paris.

Declaration of Abidjan (Ivory Coast) on South Sudan and Central African Republic


During 4 to 8 February 2014, African Grand Lodges* gathered in Abidjan for their annual meetings (CPMAM & REHFRAM). At the end of the General Assembly they issued the Declaration of Abidjan, reiterating the recommendations that have been accorded regarding the Central African Republic and South Sudan. he Declaration also mentions that peace is essential for development and the maintenance of human dignity.


Considering the importance of the presence of African and European forces to secure the Central African Republic they recognize the crucial role of European forces assisted by African forces to maintain the peace in Central Africa and ask for the transformation of these forces in peacekeeping forces under the auspices of the United Nations.
 
*Considered by the United Grand Lodge of England as "irregular"

The Regular Grand Lodge of the Kingdom of Morocco


The Regular Grand Lodge of the Kingdom of Morocco celebrated in 2010 its 10th anniversary. The event was attended by the Grand Lodge of Djibouti, Grand Lodge of Gabon, Grand Lodge of Ghana, Grand Lodge of Ivory Coast, National Grand Lodge of Mali, National Grand Lodge of Togo, Regular Grand Lodge of Belgium, United Grand Lodge of England, National Grand Lodge of France, Regular Grand Lodge of Portugal, Grand Lodge of Turkey, and the Grand Lodge of the the District of Colombia.
